WINDOWS 95 VERSION OF WATCOM SQL AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET

Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, August 24, 1995 -- Powersoft's Watcom Products
Division today announced that trial versions of Watcom SQL for both
Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 are now available via Watcom's Windows 95 World
Wide Web server at http://www.watcom.com/win95/. Database developers can
download a free 60-day trial version immediately to develop applications
which are compatible with the new Windows 95 operating system. Watcom will
demonstrate its Windows 95 database technology today in its booth at the
Microsoft Windows 95 launch events in Redmond, Chicago and Boston.

The Windows 95 compliant version of Watcom SQL is currently expected within
60 days of general availability of the operating system. All registered
Watcom SQL version 4.0 customers will be eligible to receive a free
upgrade with Windows 95 compliant support.
