Trinzic Joins Sybase Warehouse WORKS Alliance

Trinzic's Forest & Trees Decision Support System and InfoPump Heterogeneous
Replication Software Play Critical Roles in Data Warehouse
Implementations

Redwood City, CA. August 8. 1995--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced that its award-winning Forest & Trees decision support tool and
InfoPump data movement and replication software products will become part
of the new Sybase Warehouse WORKS alliance.

"Sybase has added an important dimension to the data warehouse
implementation with the Warehouse WORKS alliance," said Frederick W. Rook,
vice president and general manager of the Trinzic Data Access and
Connectivity Business Unit. "Organizations are actively looking for data
warehouse products to get more value from their data and with this
program, Sybase is making it easier to find the tools that suit their
needs."

More Powerful Access and Effective Data Movement in the Data Warehouse

"Storing vast amounts of information is necessary in today's enterprise and
an efficient engine for generating interactive and unplanned queries is
critical to the warehouse success," continued Rook. "The executives using
our Forest & Trees software want data so they can effectively analyze
their business--and they want it now. Integration with the Sybase tools
like IQ Accelerator means Forest & Trees users can get the data they want
as soon as they want it."

"Trinzic is also in the business of connecting data from heterogeneous
sources," added Rook. "Sybase products help create a place to accumulate
important data from relevant sources within the corporation. For instance,
data stored in a legacy database management system can be used to populate
the data warehouse using Trinzic's InfoHub software working in conjunction
with the Sybase MDI Gateway or the OmniSQL Gateway. In other situations,
data stored in SQL Server may need to be integrated with other server DBMS
such as Lotus Notes. In that situation, Trinzic's InfoPump could be used
to replicate the data from the source database to the target data
warehouse. In each case the combination of Sybase and Trinzic products
help customers achieve their data warehouse goals."
