New Telebit Remote Network Access Systems Deliver Faster Processing,
Modular Architecture, Integrated Ethernet

NetBlazer Dial-Up Routers Enable ISDN, Frame Relay and Analog in Single
Router

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- July 25, 1995 -- Telebit Corp. (NASDAQ: TBIT) today
announced two new remote network access systems that provide increased
processing power, a modular architecture and integrated support for
routing between Ethernet LAN and WAN environments. The NetBlazer STi and
NetBlazer 40i, dial-up routers for central and regional sites, feature
faster 486 processors that increase the throughput of NetBlazer routing in
IP, IPX and AppleTalk networks by as much as 400 percent. Additionally,
the routers can each be configured with a variety of dial-in WAN
interfaces, up to 32 ports. Furthermore, their modular and scalable
architecture enables the NetBlazer STi and NetBlazer 40i to add dial-in
ports as the network grows, and integrate ISDN, frame relay and analog
lines in a single central- or remote-site router.

Available now through Telebit resellers, the NetBlazer STi and NetBlazer
40i carry the same list prices as the models they replace. These list
prices, coupled with the routers' increased power and scalability, deliver
a price per port among the lowest in the industry for LAN-to-LAN,
client-to-LAN and Internet-access environments.

"The introduction of these two NetBlazers represents another step in
Telebit's long-term product strategy, in which diverse analog and digital
technology are blended into singular, modular remote network access
systems," said Michael K. Ballard, Telebit's executive vice president of
marketing.

KEY NEW FEATURES

The NetBlazer STi and NetBlazer 40i both provide a variety of features that
enhance LAN-to-LAN and client-to-LAN remote access:

* Multiprotocol routing (IP, IPX and AppleTalk), allowing the
  connection of diverse LAN topologies
* Multiple WAN interfaces including leased line, ISDN, frame relay
and analog dial-up, enabling extensive LAN or WAN configuration
* Scalability (up to 32 asynchronous ports, 10 synchronous ports, or
24 ISDN "B" Channels) that lets the remote network access system
  grow while protecting network investments
* Extensive security, providing "firewall" protection for Internet
  and other sensitive internetworked environments
* Common software platform through NetBlazer 3.0 -- the same
easy-to-use software that ships at no extra cost with all NetBlazer
  dial-up routers

DUAL BRI CARDS ADD ISDN, REDUCE HARDWARE COSTS

Telebit's recently announced NI2B dual Basic Rate Interface (BRI) card,
available later this year, integrates ISDN capabilities in the NetBlazer
STi and NetBlazer 40i. The NetBlazer STi or NetBlazer 40i with the NI2B
installed can manage digital dial-in and dial-out calls throughout
multiple LAN or WAN environments, while eliminating the need for
expensive, external ISDN hardware.

PRICING

The NetBlazer STi is available in several configurations at a base list
price of $3199.

The NetBlazer 40i's list price is $5199.
