INTERPLAY, MEGA SPORTS AGENT LEIGH STEINBERG TO TEAM-UP ON COMPANY'S VR
SPORTS DIVISION

August 18, 1995 -- Irvine, California-- In a move that will have a
far-reaching effect on the interactive sports market, Interplay
Productions announced today a relationship with sports "Super Agent" Leigh
Steinberg that will include him joining the company's board of directors.
Steinberg's primary role will be in consulting with the Irvine-based
software developer and distributor and their new sports division, VR
Sports.

"Leigh Steinberg is the benchmark by which all sports agents are measured.
We are extremely proud to have him join our board of directors and to
provide his counsel as we continue our expansion with Interplay and VR
Sports," said Brian Fargo, CEO of Interplay. "Leigh is not only the best
in his field, but he personally has a reputation that players, owners and
the charities he supports hold in high regard."

"I am extremely excited to be involved with VR Sports," said Steinberg. "I
look forward to being part of the board of directors at Interplay and
working with the best manufacturer and distributor of entertainment,
educational and sports software in the country."

Steinberg will be consulting with Interplay in retaining key team, league,
player and sport association licenses. Popularizing the VR Sports brand
through sporting events, both traditional and new, is another area to
which Steinberg will contribute.

Leigh Steinberg is widely recognized as the country's leading sports
attorney. For over 20 years, Steinberg has set the standard in athlete
representation excellence. Leigh's law firm, Steinberg & Moorad, maintains
an extremely impressive client list which includes Troy Aikman, Steve
Young, Warren Moon, Drew Bledsoe, Jeff George, Ki-Jana Carter, Will Clark,
Matt Williams, Greg Anthony, John Starks and many more. Steinberg has
represented an unprecedented six of the last seven number-one first-round
draft picks in the NFL draft. Leigh believes strongly that sports
franchises are critical to the heritage and overall economics of cities.
He led the effort to keep the San Francisco Giants from moving to Florida,
served on the task force which kept the Oakland A's in Oakland, and, most
recently, co-chaired the Save The Rams Committee. Steinberg is a staunch
supporter of charitable causes and represents only those athletes willing
to be positive role models by giving back to the educational facilities
and organizations in their hometown and team communities and through
national charities.
