INTERGRAPH ANNOUNCES MAPPING AND CIVIL ENGINEERING PRODUCTS FOR WINDOWS
`95

FORT WORTH, Tx., August 24th, 1995 -- Intergraph Corporation announced that
it will make its Mapping and Civil Engineering software available for the
Microsoft Windows 95 operating system beginning today.According to Larry
Ayers, executive vice president of the Infrastructure Division of
Intergraph Software Solutions, "this makes Intergraph the first major GIS
(Geographic Information Systems) vendor to offer a complete suite of
geo-spatial and engineering software products for both Windows 95 and the
Windows NT operating system."

This product announcement coincides with Microsoft's launch of Windows 95
today. "Windows 95 gives our customers another option for Open GIS coupled
with a complete solution in the civil engineering environment," said
Ayers. "Our strategy is simple: to provide complete and open GIS offerings
for our customers, like the City of Fort Worth, with `best-of class'
partners," Ayers said.

"We look forward to our relationship with Intergraph and the technology
they provide for our mission critical applications," said Tex Norwood,
Information Systems and Services Division head at the City of Fort Worth.

"The launch of Windows 95 presents a great opportunity for Intergraph
Software Solutions to reinforce our commitment to the 32-bit Windows
environment made three years ago. Intergraph chose Windows NT and now
Windows 95 to realize the vision of the Technical Desktop -- where
technical applications and personal productivity tools freely
interoperate," said Tommy Steele, president of Intergraph Software
Solutions.

"Intergraph's software packages for Windows 95 will help engineer our
highways, design our schools and map our world" said Brad Chase, general
manager of the personal systems division at Microsoft. "By taking
advantage of the technologies in Windows 95, computer-aided designers will
be even more productive," noted Chase.

Intergraph is the largest developer of 32-bit Windows applications for
computer-aided design, engineering, and manufacturing and geographic
information systems, now available for both Windows 95 and Windows NT.
