PACIFIC INTERNET TO OFFER NEW HoTMetaL PRO 2.0 WITH ITS LOW-COST WORLD WIDE
WEB-SERVER FAMILY

INTERNET'S BEST-SELLING HTML AUTHORING TOOL NOW AVAILABLE WITH PACIFIC
INTERNET'S "WEB-IN-A-BOX" TURNKEY WEB SERVER PRODUCT LINE

August 2, 1995 -- CULVER CITY, Calif. -- Pacific Internet will now offer
the new version of HoTMetaL PRO 2.0 the leading HTML authoring tool from
Softquad, Inc., (Symbol: SKI) -- along with its recently introduced
Web-in-a-Box family of low-cost PC-based turnkey Internet server
solutions.

A leading supplier of on-line products and services, Pacific Internet
recently introduced the first of several models of the Web-in-a-Box family
which allows users to immediately configure a complete on-line,
corporate-wide communications server or establish a site on the Internet's
WorldWideWeb (WWW)

The open architecture, Intel Pentium-driven, UNIX-based Web-server system
comes complete with all necessary hardware and software to establish one
or more Web Sites and set up home pages that can be accessed by millions
of Internet users world-wide.

Now being offered with Pacific Internet's new Web-server family, HoTMetaL
PRO 2.0 from Toronto's Softquad makes it possible for Web-in-a Box users
to easily create and place hypertext linked, multi-media documents on the
WorldWideWeb for access by all standard Web browsers. Softquad's WYSIWYG
HyperText Markup Language (HTML) Internet tool simplifies the publishing
of home pages, or any other type of web document.

HoTMetaL PRO 2.0 will be available in addition to Web-in-a-Box's
industry-standard Web server software and leading Internet utilities --
including TCP/IP, E-Mail, FTP, Gopher and news services. Web-in-a-Box
users will have the option of creating Web documents in either the
Macintosh, UNIX, or Windows environment -- using the HoTMetaL PRO 2.0
version of their choice -- for deployment, upon completion, to Pacific
Internet's open architecture Web-in-a-Box PC-based solution.

Fully-configured, Pacific Internet Web-in-a-Box servers can easily handle
up to 250,000 hits per day and 500 hits per minute, allowing users to
effectively "broadcast" information via the Internet.

In addition to being a complete plug-and-play solution, Web-in-a-Box is
based on industry-standard modular UNIX and Pentium architectures allowing
for easy and affordable upgrading of RAM, disk space and network bandwidth
as users' Web Sites grow in demand and complexity. These same . features
allow for the use of extensive off-the-shelf, third party software tools
like HoTMetaL PRO 2.0 alongside the server's integrated software.

System configuration for current models in the growing Web-in-a-Box family
of Web-servers includes a 90 Mhz Pentium central processing unit, and
pre-configured UNIX Internet software as well as a variety of RAM, hard
disk memory and add-on options -- based on the user's needs.

Each Web-in-a-Box model provides ample computing power to allow one system
to host multiple domain names and Web Sites -- for one company or
organization with diverse identities, or for several companies sharing
server capacity.
