availability of VideoDirector Suite version 2.5 for Windows which
incorporates advanced features for users who want more than a cuts-only
editing system. VideoDirector Suite users can now create and edit special
sounds, music, graphics, titles and animations using additional hardware
combined with Gold Disk's suite of editors.

The VideoDirector family of products are consumer video editing packages
that give consumers the ability to edit their home video tapes.
VideoDirector Suite provides the ability to control a consumer camcorder
and VCR from a Windows PC, allowing the consumer to select their favorite
video moments, arrange them in any order, and automatically and accurately
record them onto a new tape.

VideoDirector 2.0 for Windows is the recipient of several industry awards

have the necessary hardware spice up their videos with sounds, music,
titles, graphics, animations and more. Adding sound or video effects to
their video production is a simple point and click operation.
VideoDirector Suite includes a Suite of programs for creating or editing
effects: A Title Editor, Sound Editor, Animation Editor, as well as a huge
selection of clip media.

Video Database: VideoDirector Suite' Tape Library keeps a permanent record
of every video clip. All your favorite video moments are cataloged in
VideoDirector Suite's on-line library. The library may be searched and
sorted by dates, categories, names and other criteria.

Tape Label printing: Users can print attractive labels for all of their
video tapes as well as printing liner cards for their video cassette
cases, listing the names of the clips recorded on their tape.

Easy Clip logging: By simply clicking a button the user can choose the
beginning or ending point for a video clip. SmartControls make it easier
to locate the desired frame for starting or ending a clip. The user can
easily log clips from a tape by simply hitting the space bar. Hit it once
to log the Start Time. Hit the space bar again and the End time is logged.
Hit Enter and the clip is saved to the library and the user is ready to
log their next clip.

Extensive On-Line Help is available of all of VideoDirector Suite's
features that are documented in an easy-to-access on-line help file.

Automatic Configuration: Setting up your video equipment for use with
VideoDirector Suite is a snap. The first time you run VideoDirector Suite,
the program automatically sets its self to work with your gear.

Video effects hardware supported: MCI compatible Video-in-Window board,
Encoder;

Video-in-a-Window plus encoder, Genlock, and NewTek Video Toaster.

Computer System Requirements

Recommended system requirements for VideoDirector Suite include: 386 with
4MB RAM, Windows 3.1 or higher, and an available serial port. Optional
hardware for special effects include: MCI compatible Video-in-a-Window
board for display of video on the computer monitor; Windows compatible
sound board for audio effects, CD-ROM for CD audio effects; VGA to NTSC
encoder, Genlock or NewTek Video Toaster for title, animation or graphic
