Dialogic Releases CT-Connect Software to Channels

Computer-Telephony Integration Software Accelerates Time-to-Market for
OEMs, VARs and Systems Integrators

WOBURN, Mass, August 7, 1995--Dialogic Corporation (NASDAQ: DLGC), and
their Computer Telephone Division, announced today the general
availability of CT-Connect, an open standards-based call control server.
CT-Connect is software that supports a wide range of major
telecommunication switches and local area networks, in order to easily
enable enduser computer-telephone integration (CTI) solutions. CT- Connect
allows applications to combine calls with relevant data associated with
the caller and to process this information effectively from the desktop,
accelerating individual, workgroup and enterprise productivity.

CT-Connect runs under the Microsoft Windows NT operating system, on Intel
architecture and Digital Alpha processors. This server software also
supports Intel/Microsoft's telephony API (TAPI) with a client/server
configuration. At the Microsoft TAPI software 'bakeoff' held last week
near San Francisco, California, Dialogic's CT-Connect te sted with the
majority of the three dozen applications running in the NT and TAPI
environments. While most of the applications in this pre-Windows 95 event
were pre-production versions of computertelephony software, the CT-Connect
software tested was the full production version, available immediately.

Charles Fitzgerald, Windows Telephony product manager at Microsoft
commented on CT Connect's performance at the bakeoff: "Without advance
testing, CT-Connect was able to interoperate with nearly two dozen Windows
applications at the bakeoff via the TAPI interface. This clearly
demonstrates that the TAPI interface can be implemented on a s erverbased
CTI-product, making it appropriate for large CTI implementations as well
as individual desktops."

Designed to be open to multiple PBXs and computer platforms, CT-Connect is
intended to be used by application developers, VARs, system integrators
and OEMs to design and construct enduser computer-telephone solutions.
CT-Connect is CSTA-compliant, an open interface standard for
computer-telephone integration applications. This standard, as set forth
by ECMA, encourages open access and interoperability between telephone and
computer systems.

CT-Connect is a fourth generation product based on the CIT technology which
Dialogic acquired from Digital Equipment Corporationearlier this year. The
Dialogic Computer Telephone Division operates from Woburn, Massachusetts
and includes a core team originally from Digital. Computer-telephone
software provides a bridge between a telephone system and a computer
network, enabling application software to coordinate telephone and data
processing functions. This connection allows both large and small
companies to serve their customers faster, with more complete
information.

The standard version of CT-Connect supports telephone switches with ECMA
CSTA-compliant CTI links, as well as some additional switches whose CTI
links are similar to the CSTA call model. It is available in three
configurations:

* A full configuration, supporting client modules for
Windows,Windows NT, Unix and OpenVMS and an unlimited number
  of client system applications, priced at $15,000;
* A Windows-only configuration, supporting an unlimited number
of Microsoft Windows 3.1 systems, priced at $7,500.; and
* An entry-level configuration, supporting up to 35 Windows only
  client systems, priced at $3,000.

There are no usage-based license charges, and client modules are included
at no extra charge. These three configurations are available effective
immediately, as announced in March.

End-user customers interested in CT-Connect should contact their CTI
systems integrator or VAR. Distributors, systems integrators and VAR's may
contact the regional sales offices of Dialogic Corporation. Their direct
numbers are available through the Dialogic sales number: 800-755-4444.

Two successful Beta sites have installed and implemented Dialogic's
CT-Connect as a cornerstone server for providing broad-based integration
of their telephone call control and computer information systems. A
leading European financial services company, using Dialogic
CT-Connect/CSTA technology, is now in full business production with its
100-seat debt collection call center. Digital and Alcatel acted as overall
systems provider for the integration project. In the United States, a
state government has utilized CT-Connect in their 120-seat call center
supporting their foodstamp program. At any time, a qualified foodstamp
recipient can call an 800 number and get an update on their foodstamp
status for the month.

"These installations demonstrate CT-Connect's uniqueness in the CTI
marketplace," explains Carl Strathmeyer, marketing director for the CT
Division. "CT-Connect supports large call centers with heavy call activity
and mission-critical applications as easily as smaller sites and TAPI
desktop applications. It's the universal solution for app lication
developers and VARs who want to add telephony capabilities to their CTI
projects."

Howard Bubb, president of Dialogic Corporation, commented, " We are right
on track with our Computer-Telephone Division. Dialogic is helping our
partners diffentiate themselves by providing new CTI capabilities to their
customers."

In addition, The Synapse Group, a special professional services group of
Dialogic's CT Division, is consulting with their business partners to help
them configure, sell, and deliver successful CTI projects. The OEMs and
VARs act as the lead and primary liaison with the customer, and the
Synapse Group responds to specific partner requests for project
consultation. This support network is also helping to shorten the project
timeline for complicated computer-telephone integration projects.

Founded in 1983, Dialogic Corporation is a leading manufacturer of
standards based computer telephony hardware and software platforms, with
more than 1.7 million ports shipped worldwide. In March 1993, Dialogic
launched Signal Computing System Architecture along with 70 other
companies. SCSA defines open software and hardware architectural standards
for building computer telephony systems with multiple technologies. SCSA
is now supported by more than 280 industry suppliers. Dialogic is a
founder member of the Enterprise Computer Telephony Forum (ECTF).
