CONNECTIX ACQUIRES INVISION, FORMS NEW BUSINESS GROUPS

Consistent Growth Fuels Key Acquisition, Three Market Groups and New Hires

SAN MATEO, CA, AUGUST 28, 1995 -- Connectix Corporation, having enjoyed an
average growth rate of over 40% per quarter since 1993, announced its
acquisition of the assets of InVision Systems Corp. (Tulsa, Oklahoma), a
pioneer in desktop videoconferencing software. InVision, the company's
flagship product, is the industry's first network-based videoconferencing
system to operate on today's desktop computers, and so complements
Connectix digital video technology. Established in 1992, InVision Systems
currently commands an estimated 10 percent share of the videoconferencing
software market. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The continuing growth of the PC market, augmented by increasing ease-of-use
in hardware and software design, has created unprecedented opportunities
in the field of digital video which Connectix has moved quickly to meet.
"We'll be looking at a host of entirely new applications," said Roy
McDonald, Connectix President and CEO. "In addition to videoconferencing,
these include security, video messaging, broadcasting, document scanning
and edutainment."

Key to these developments is a major marketing divisionalization of core
operations. Three main functional groups have been established in the
following areas:

* Utilities Group (RAM Doubler Mac, Ram Doubler Windows and Speed
  Doubler Mac memory management products)
* Hardware Group (QuickCam Mac and QuickCam Windows digital video
  cameras)
* Applications Software Group (video applications software).

Supporting the formation of these new marketing groups is the arrival of
Don Pickens. Formerly of Microsoft Corporation, where he was most recently
the Group Product Manager of the Desktop Applications Group, Pickens has
been appointed to the position of Group Product Manager for the Hardware
Group.

"I'm truly delighted to join Connectix," Pickens said. "The convergence of
computers, communications and digital video is one of the hottest trends
in the PC industry. Connectix has all the components in place to quickly
establish itself as a dominant force in this rapidly-expanding market, and
itUs very exciting to be a part of this rapid evolution."

Connectix has also promoted Thom Hogan to the position of Group Product
Manager of the Applications Software Group. Roy McDonald will be the
acting head of the Utilities Group.

"Every computer will have a built-in video camera within two to five
years," said Hogan. "Our low-cost, cross-platform digital video
applications software will deliver on the promise of desktop
videoconferencing."

"Connectix has revolutionized camera technology," said Michael Thompson,
previously Vice President of Product Development at InVision and now
Product Manager in the Hardware Group at Connectix. "Our strength in the
digital video market and an aggressive user-focused software strategy will
enable Connectix to deliver a high-quality videoconferencing phone at
costs dramatically lower than anyone elseUs. Moreover, Connectix is
committed to compatibility across platforms, videoconferencing standards
and communications protocols."

Connectix will also be expanding its support availability. Currently,
service in North America is available seven days a week between the hours
of 5:00AM and 8:00PM PST Monday through Friday, and between the hours of
8:00AM and 5:00PM on Saturdays and Sundays. As of September 4, support
