ComputerMania Attracts Key Exhibitors and Partners Consumer Events Put Home
Computing "On Tour"

FOSTER CITY, CA (August 22, 1995) - ComputerMania, the nationwide series of
Try-It, Learn-It, Buy-It events has gained significant exhibitor and media
support for its inaugural events in the key fourth quarter holiday buying
season.

More than 30 companies have committed to demonstrate products at
ComputerMania tour stops at the Anaheim Convention Center (September
29-October 1, 1995) and Dallas Infomart (October 13-15, 1995).
ComputerMania, produced by Softbank Expos, with Ziff-Davis Publishing,
Microsoft Home and Hewlett-Packard as lead sponsors, targets home
computing enthusiasts who are eager to learn about, try out and buy
entertainment, education and home office computer products. More than
25,000 attendees are expected for each of the 1995 events.

Exhibitors for the first two stops on the tour include: Broderbund
Software, The Learning Company, Knowledge Adventure, Corel, Berkeley
Systems, Egghead Software, Acer, Spry/Compuserve, Books that Work,
Sanctuary Woods, Cambrix, Delrina, NuReality, NETCOM On-line and
CompuBooks.

ComputerMania has also drawn significant support from major national and
local media. Lead sponsor Ziff-Davis will feature advertisements for the
events in its consumer publications, Computer Life, Family PC, Computer
Gaming World and its new online magazine, Ziff-Davis' Internet Life.
Newsweek magazine will also promote ComputerMania regionally in Newsweek,
and nationally in the Computers and the Family newsstand special and
Virtual City, Newsweek's new city magazine for cyberspace.

ComputerMania has national television promotions planned with c/net and
Jones Computer Network, as well as programs on local stations, such as
KNBC in Los Angeles and KXAS in Dallas. Each of the two 1995 events will
be backed by major local newspaper advertising and promotions including
special pull-out sections in both Los Angeles and Dallas-area papers the
week before each show.
