AUTODESK ANNOUNCES TWO NEW DEALER PROGRAMS

Setting the Standard for Technical Training and Customer Support

August 15, 1995--San Rafael, Calif.--Responding to the growing demand for
industry-specific customer service, today at CADCamp, Autodesk's annual
Dealer workshop, Autodesk announced the Autodesk Premier Support Center
(APSC) program and the Autodesk Systems Center (ASC) Solutions Training
program for Authorized Autodesk Dealers.

The Autodesk Premier Support Center and ASC Solutions Training programs are
two new phases of the Autodesk Systems Centers program, originally
developed in Europe, that are now available to Authorized Autodesk Dealers
in the United States. By January, 1996, ASCs who wish to remain in the
program must qualify as APSC or ASC Solutions Training sites. By January
1997, the ASCs in the program must qualify for the remaining phase of the
program. Upon completion of these two new qualifications, an ASC in the
U.S. will have one (or more) industry Medallion, and Autodesk Premier
Support Center and ASC Solutions Training status.

development in the Americas at Autodesk. "These two new programs reflect

surpass our competitions' training and support programs."

Autodesk Premier Support Center (APSC) Program The APSC program requires
participating Dealers to provide a high level of technical support with
special expertise in a specified vertical industry.

Customer Benefits of the APSC Program

Customers have better support through flexible support options, two
dedicated support engineers, four-hour guaranteed call-back response, and
call tracking.

Customers will increase productivity by receiving additional technical
support for their vertical industry applications.

ASC Solutions Training Program

The ASC Solutions Training program requires Dealers to provide superior
industry-specific application training to customers.

Customer Benefits of the ASC Solutions Training Program

More Vertical market training will be available through a recognized
channel.

Customers increase productivity by receiving additional training for their
vertical industry applications Customers will be trained by a Certified
Autodesk Instructor.

Training curriculum will be Autodesk-certified courseware, or validated
through Autodesk's Customer Education and Training Department
