UB NETWORKS INVESTS IN INTERACTIVE 3D VIRTUAL REALITY COMPANY REINFORCING
COMMITMENT TO EMERGING MARKET FOR INTERACTIVE COMMERCE

Santa Clara, CA -- April 10, 1995 -- UB Networks today announced an equity
investment in Knowledge Adventure Worlds, a spin-off of multimedia
developer Knowledge Adventure Inc., and developer of software that creates
interactive multi-user 3D virtual reality environments. UB Networks is the
first outside investor in Knowledge Adventure Worlds and is Knowledge
Adventure Worlds' first strategic relationship.

forged close ties between user interface and networking technologies to
provide comprehensive support for new models of direct
consumer-to-corporation communication for the global marketplace," said

In March, UB Networks announced the first commercial products to
incorporate the Knowledge Adventure Worlds technology. InterWorld VR,
allows corporations to develop and deploy interactive 3D multi-user
commercial applications over high-bandwidth private data networks and the
Internet. The first implementation of InterWorld VR, an innovative medical
application, will be unveiled later this quarter.

Knowledge Adventure Worlds is a privately held corporation that develops,
produces and markets interactive 3D virtual environments. Knowledge
Adventure Worlds develops customized virtual worlds for commercial and
consumer applications in partnership with multimedia software publishers,
advertisers, home shopping networks and specific content providers. In

they are currently creating two interactive virtual reality environments
