FOSTER CITY, CA (April 24, 1995) - 9,975 virtual attendeesparticipated in
the premier of N+I Online!, the industry's firstnetworking trade show on
the Internet's World Wide Web (WWW). An adjunct tothe NetWorld+Interop `95
show in Las Vegas, N+I Online! links attendeesdirectly to exhibitor,
product, and conference information.

The virtual trade show was open March 13 - April 14, and
accommodatedthousands of requests for information as users took advantage
of thisrevolutionary approach to trade show attendance. Users logged on to
tour the61 virtual booths of participating exhibitors where they obtained
informationabout exhibiting companies, participated in online discussions,
sent e-mailmessages to technical staff at exhibitor booths, and
experienced one of themost interactive sites on the web.

"I found N+I Online! extremely helpful in my planning and scheduling,"
saidBruce Robertson, senior technology editor at Network Computing
Magazine. "Thesearch function in N+I Online! helped me to quickly locate
particulartechnologies and was faster and more efficient than wading
through adirectory. As a result, I was able to better manage my time while
at theshow and meet with the companies that I needed to see."

For the 61 premier vendors who exhibited on N+I Online!, the
productextended their trade show presence by an additional month
surroundingNetWorld+Interop, which was held in Las Vegas March 27 - 31. In
addition tothe increased exposure they gained from the program,
participating vendorsbenefited from receipt of additional lead information
furnished by virtualattendees.

SOFTBANK has taken the leading edge technology of its partners, and put
themtogether into an innovative product. N+I Online! has a powerful
searchengine from Verity Inc. that allows attendees to do a detailed
search of anexhibitor's entire product line (i.e., entire web site), from
within thevirtual trade show. Using this search engine, attendees can then
be linkeddirectly to a specific document within that web site. N+I Online!
alsoincludes customized software programs from Internet Media Services
(IMS) thatregister and track on-line attendees, and Virtual Places
Technology fromUbique, a technology which allows for real-time voice or
text conferencing aswell as guided tours over a Web page.

"More and more companies are realizing that in order to stay
competitive, they need to implement new methods to sell to their
customers," said MikeMillikin, senior vice president of NetWorld+Interop.
"A unique product like N+I Online! broadens exhibitors' marketing scope
and expands their businesspotential. We look forward to the endless
