Delrina's Echo Lake Applauded by Computer Industry Pundits

Shipment of New 'Family Memory' Software Program Highly Anticipated

SAN JOSE, CA, and TORONTO, ONT -- April 3, 1995 -- One of the most talked
about new consumer software products is Delrina's Echo Lake, a personal
multimedia program for capturing and sharing life stories. The product is
expected to be available in May. The choice of Echo Lake as one of P.C.
Letter's Demo '95 Premiere products, as well as early reaction from
industry analysts and media, make this one of the most anticipated
launches in Delrina+s seven-year history.

"The user interface is absolutely gorgeous," said David Coursey, editor and
publisher of P.C. Letter, and conference chairman for Demo '95. "And it's
one of the best designed products I've seen in a long time. This is the
kind of product that captures people+s imagination, and it may be the
first application that lets average people create true multimedia shows."

"This product not only invents a new user interface. . ., it also invents
an entire new category of software," commented Amy Wohl in her Demo '95
round-up in Trendsletter. "Expect it to show up in stores this spring and
immediately leap into buyer+s hands and onto the best-selling software
list.

This one's a winner!"

Recent preview meetings with leading publications have resulted in strong
support of the product as it moves toward completion. Some of the initial
reactions include:

* In her April 11th column in PC Magazine, Editor Robin Raskin discussed
Echo Lake as a key element in the trend toward 'personal publishing': "So
what+s the killer app for these cool hardware devices? It may be Echo
Lake, a digital archivist from Delrina."

* "I am deeply impressed. I am very, very excited about it. The whole look
and feel is unique, and it is going to help sell a lot of scanners, color
printers and video capture cards," said Vince Broady, executive editor of
Multimedia World Magazine.

* "I've seen nothing else quite like Echo Lake. It defines a new category
of software and represents a gutsy move on Delrina+s part to come out with
something so out-of-the-ordinary," wrote Richard Morochove, computer
consultant and syndicated columnist, in the Toronto Star newspaper.

About Echo Lake:

Echo Lake is a high-quality creative package that takes full advantage of
multimedia. It offers users of all ages numerous ways to create vivid
accounts of their life experiences, complete with digitized photos, voice
and sound clips, and other media. Echo Lake works with a wide range of
complementary products and services, including scanners, digital cameras,
video capture cards and Kodak Photo CDs, to further bring personal and
family memories to life. When complete, users can print their life stories
in a book format, or copy them to diskette to create a run-time version to
give to family and friends.

The CD-ROM version of Echo Lake includes over 250 photographs and 30
minutes of historic video clips, all in digital format within the
Inspirator, an exciting feature of Echo Lake that uses interview-style
questions, and prompts from history and trivia to help trigger personal
memories. In addition, media such as 250 high-quality clip art files and a
selection of sound clips are available in electronic form within the
program. Echo Lake users can choose to integrate any of these into their
personal stories created with the program.

Echo Lake is available for Windows 3.1 or higher. The minimum requirements
include a 386 processor with 4MB RAM, (486 with 8MB RAM recommended) and

Echo Lake will be available in both Disk and CD ROM format for Windows. A
Macintosh release is expected to follow this fall. The retail price for
