ULTIMATE CALCULATOR 2.8 NOW HAS TSR OPTION & MORE GRAPHING FEATURES

APRIL 18, 1995 -- MIAMI, FLORIDA -- Daniel Corbier announces the release of
version 2.8 of Ultimate Calculator (UCALC). This new version has the long
awaited TSR option which allows the program to be invoked at any time by
pressing a key. It takes less than 6K of main memory. This version also
contains many new graphing features.

UCALC, which received a 4-star rating on the Ziff-Davis shareware forum, is
a multi-purpose graphing calculator which can be used for simple daily
arithmetic, or intricate scientific calculations. It supports many built-
in functions, operators, numerical notations, and modes. It can evaluate
expressions, solve equations, perform numerical integrations, summations
and more. It plots polar, parametric, and cartesian equations. The
graphing menu supports tracing, zooming, filling and more.

UCALC works on PC compatibles with no special requirements, although it
does take advantage of a VGA monitor and math co-processor when present.
It is a DOS program, but runs perfectly in Windows 3.x. Despite its many
features, UCALC is small in file size. The design of UCALC is directly
based on the input of many beta testers and users who wanted a calculator
that was easy to use, yet takes maximum advantage of the computer's
power.

A fully functional shareware copy can be downloaded from Compuserve, in the
IBMAPP forum, library 13 (Tech/Engr/Science), UCAL28.ZIP. Internet users
can FTP it from garbo.uwasa.fi, pc/math/ucalc28.zip. Registration is $25.
Registration removes all reminders.
