Seahaven Towers 2.0 For Microsoft Windows

V2.0 of Seahaven Towers, a solitaire card game featured in the San Jose, CA
Mercury News Computing section on June 5, 1994, is now available! The
goal of this game is to arrange the deck of cards into the four suits.
The game begins with the entire deck visible, and you must rearrange the
cards and move them into the order Ace, 2, 3, ... King. Many users find
this game highly addictive, and have suggested it be treated as a
controlled substance :-).

The game is available at:

- ftp.cica.indiana.edu, in the /pub/pc/win3/games directory.
- America Online, keyword PC GAMES, Windows Games, Windows
  Card and Board games section.
- Compuserve, WINFUN forum, library 2 (Card Games). If you don't
see it there, give it a chance -- they seem to be slow these
  days.
- Me. If you don't have access to any of the above resources,
I can send the game to you via email. It will arrive as
file segments that must be reassembled and uudecoded.

Features of the game include:

- a status bar that tells you why a move can not be made
- sound effects that can be toggled on or off
- an autoplay mode that automates the tedium of making
  obvious moves
- more than one game can be played at a time; game windows can be
iconified, and all games and window positions are remembered
  across sessions
- full undo and redo, all the way back to the start of the game
- a win & loss history is kept, and the history can be cleared
when the losses start to pass the wins :-)
- maintains a history of your longest winning and losing streaks

This game is shareware, and I am asking for a $10 registration fee. This
version of the game is a demonstration version, and has all of the above
features, except that two of the features have been limited:

- the autoplay will only move cards Ace through 6, you will have
to move cards 7 - King yourself,
- the Undo/Redo will only operate on the last three moves;
because undo is used to start a game over, you can't start
a game over once you have moved more than three cards.

In the registered version, autoplay works on all of the cards, and
Undo/Redo will work all the way back to the start of the game. The
registered version will also allow you to start a game over from the
beginning.

Registered users receive FREE updates via email! If you do not have email,
then updates will cost $1.50 (US) to cover the cost of disks and postage.
