Logitech Strikes a Bold Direction in Personalizing the PC Desktop with
MouseMan Sensa Introduction

MouseMan Sensa Available In Four Different Patterns and Two Inviting
Textures, Improved Shape and Added Functionality

FREMONT, Calif. (Sept. 12, 1994) -- Logitech. the world's leading
manufacturer of pointing devices, scanners and other input peripherals,
today unveiled a bold innovation in its campaign to personalize the
desktop for computer users. In addition to its standard MouseMan product
which has been updated and improved for this introduction, Logitech now
offers MouseMan Sensa for those users who want to add a personal touch to
their workspace.

"We want to offer mice and other peripherals that people love to own," said
Pierluigi Zappacosta, president of Logitech. "These are products that
function beautifully, save you time and effort in many small ways and also
have sensual appeal. The MouseMan Sensa products are our strongest
statement to date of this important direction for Logitech. Their
functionality is unparalleled but they are also wonderful to look at and
to touch."

Logitech commissioned a team of Italian designers known for their work with
high-profile, consumer products to create MouseMan Sensa. The product is
available in four distinctive patterns each of which has strong appeal and
highly sophisticated, enduring design. The look and feel of the products
suit a wide variety of tastes and fit in a variety of different
environments. Along with the color and pattern, the mice come in two
different surface textures, giving each of the mice a deeply personalized
look and feel. Two of the patterns called Deep Wood and Black Chess, have
a high gloss texture while those called Silver Pearl and Blue Leopard are
velvety to the touch.

The design of the MouseMan Sensa offers a more comforting, softened shape
with indents for the fingers and a sloping arch for the palm. In addition
to the new look and feel, the new MouseMan products come with free,
step-saving MouseWare software. With this software users can more easily
designate specific mouse buttons and button combinations to make computing
faster and easier. Such frequently-used commands as copy, paste, delete
and undo can be executed with a single click of the mouse button rather
than two or three clicks in a pull-down menu system.

"We find customers really appreciate the short-cuts our mouse software
provides," said David Smith worldwide product manager. "Just the ability
to replace double clicking with a single click of the mouse button is a
nice time-saver and people love it."

The MouseMan line is plug-and-play ready for future advances in operating
systems and 100% Microsoft compatible. MouseMan and MouseMan Sensa will
carry a suggested retail price of $64.95 and $74.95, respectively, and
will be available in retail stores for the holiday season by early
October. The products are backed by Logitech's 60-day satisfaction
guarantee and a three-year guarantee.
