PUBLISH MAGAZINE HONORS FOUR KODAK OFFERINGS

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 1994 Four products and technologies from Eastman
Kodak Company are being honored for innovation in electronic publishing
here at the Seybold San Francisco conference.

Publish Magazine announced that Kodak will receive 1994 Impact Awards for:

* Kodak Arrange-It Photo CD Portfolio layout software, which enables users
to create still-image multimedia programs at their desktops. Arrange-It
software "helps newcomers to multimedia create interactive presentations
using simple commands," Publish noted.

* Kodak Professional DCS 420 Digital Camera, a high-resolution megapixel
camera that combines superior image quality with ease of use and
portability. "By incorporating a working Nikon body and lens, this CCD
device can be used by anyone comfortable with traditional photography,"
Publish said.

* Kodak Picture Exchange, which provides users with on-line desktop access
to over 100,000 images from 24 stock photography agencies.

* Kodak Print Photo CD format, which will enable the creation of prepress
"electronic job jackets" for the storage of all the elements related to a
printed piece, from film scans to layouts to separations.

"This latest addition to the Photo CD line makes Photo CD an alternate
distribution method for documents as well as images," Publish said.

A total of 30 Impact Awards will be presented at a luncheon Thurs., Sept.
15. No other company will receive more than two awards.

"We are gratified to be recognized by Publish, which covers the desktop
publishing industry so closely," said Carl Gustin, general manager and
vice president of Kodak's Digital and Applied Imaging organization, who
was scheduled to accept the award for Kodak. "These awards not only
recognize great technology, they also recognize the way Kodak is applying
the technology to meet the needs of customers."

All four Kodak offerings are being shown in the Kodak booth (#1913) at the
Seybold conference. Publish plans a special feature on the Impact Award
winners in its December issue.
