IBM Independent/International Vendor League News Service Announced

AUSTIN, TX, SEPTEMBER 12, 1994.  IBM TODAY ANNOUNCED A NEW SERVICE TO
publicize products and services that support OS/2 and related software
products.  Part of IBM's worldwide Independent Vendor League (IVL), the
new IVL News Service will distribute product announcements and related
newsworthy items electronically via fax, e-mail, online services, bulletin
board systems, and IBM internal forums.

Independent/International Vendor League members are invited to submit
information for distribution via the IVL News Service.  All submissions
will be limited to a one-page format designed for online viewing and will
include how to obtain more information about the product or service.

The IBM Independent/International Vendor League supports individuals and
third-party companies who develop and market books, newsletters,
magazines, training videos, consulting services and courseware that
support IBM software products.  Today, IVL products and services support
OS/2, LAN Server, MMPM/2, Communications Manager/2, DB2/2, PC-DOS,
Pen/Mobile Computing, and object-oriented programming tools and
applications.  Other IVL services include a product accreditation program
and listings in the IBM Sources & Solutions directory.
