AionDS Version 6.4 Provides a Powerful Visual Development Environment for
Integrating Business Rules and Objects into Client/Server Applications

Palo Alto, CA, September 28, 1994--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced that it is shipping a major upgrade to the company's visual
development environment for building business process automation (BPA)
applications. The new Aion Development System (AionDS) Version 6.4
provides users with a visual development environment for Microsoft Windows
or OS/2 Presentation Manager (PM) applications utilizing business rules
and objects.

"Companies today have two major priorities--implementing business process
reengineering in the organizational sphere and making the move to
client/server architecture in the information technology sphere," said Bob
Payne, Trinzic Vice President and General Manager for Application
Development Tools. "AionDS is a proven tool for building BPA applications
and the new Version 6.4 product extensions on Microsoft Windows and OS/2
allow organizations to develop and integrate these critical applications
in client/server environments more productively."

Powerful Business Logic Processing for Client/Server

AionDS is an advanced development tool for "run-the-business" applications
that require complex business logic. AionDS 6.4 features improved
development productivity on GUI workstations and integration in
client/server environments. The rule-based and object-oriented components
of AionDS represent and process business policies and data with minimal
manual programming, and the client/server and graphical execution
facilities support distributed delivery in commercial environments. AionDS
is typically used for strategic applications such as product and sales
configuration, credit card fraud detection, production or personnel
scheduling, product and service cross-selling, and underwriting.

AionDS Exploits Windows and OS/2 Presentation Manager Capabilities

AionDS 6.4 leverages the powerful GUI capabilities of the Windows and PM
environments to improve developer productivity for GUI or character-based
applications. New class library support for Microsoft's Dynamic Data
Exchange (DDE) capability simplifies integration and communication between
the business rules of AionDS and the popular Windows applications. The
range of data sources supported on both the client and server platforms is
expanded through Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) support and extended
native database interfaces for popular database management systems. The
net effect is a more open development environment supporting more types of
client/server data and services.

Application Portability with AionDS on IBM MVS, AIX and SunOS Platforms

Business applications built with Trinzic's AionDS Version 6.4 can be ported
to mainframe and midrange platforms where AionDS is currently available.
Corporations can deliver applications built and tested on the Windows and
OS/2 platforms in IBM MVS, SunOS and IBM AIX environments with little or
no change to application code. CICS, DB2, IMS and CA-IDMS environments are
supported under MVS.
