Sirius Publishing To Release Long-Awaited 5-Ft. 10-Pak Volume II

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ --August 1, 1994) -- Building on the success of its first
5-ft. 10-Pak, Sirius Publishing, Inc. announced the ten popular titles to
be released this fall in its "5-ft. 10-Pak Volume II."

The 5-ft 10-Pak is a five-foot-long promotional package of ten full-version
CD-ROMs from top publishers.  The goal of the promotion is to acquaint new
and current CD-ROM users with the potential of the medium and boost
overall consumer interest in multimedia products.

Sirius Publishing, Inc. licensed and marketed the cooperative effort, which
offers ten CDs at the introductory price of $29.95 - or $3.00 each.  At
this price, "thousands of new users can discover the power of multimedia
and can easily collect additional CDs for the home PC,"  said Richard
Gnant, president of  Sirius.  "We even included special discount coupons
as further incentive to users to consider our other fine titles."

The "5-ft. 10-Pak Volume I" was named the number-one best-selling title in
PC Data's "Top 20 CD-ROMS" category last month, and the leader in the "Top
5 PC Games" category as well.  PC Data is a leading supplier of market
research from software retailers, distributors, and mail-order companies.

Volume I of the 5-ft. 10-Pak includes reference titles:  "World Vista
Atlas" from Applied Optical Media Corp., "Time Man of the Year" from
Compact Publishing, and Wayzata Technology's popular "World FactBook." 
Games include "Stellar 7" and "King's Quest V" from Sierra On-Line, and
"Doom" from Id Software.

Other titles include a "CD-ROM of CD-ROMs" from Resource International
Publishing,  Co., "Best of Media Clips" from Aris Entertainment, and
"Animation Festival" from  Wizardware Multimedia.  The "Sing-Along Classic
Oldies" song disc from Sirius Publishing features fully-orchestrated CD
stereo background music and a run-time version of Sirius' flagship "PC
Karaoke."

Volume II of the 5-ft. 10-pak will also sell for $29.95 and again offers a
broad representation of CD-ROM titles and includes reference materials,
games, video discs, and fully-orchestrated CD entertainment:   

Developed by the Microsoft Developer Relations Group, "Microsoft Multimedia
Jumpstart" is an informative disc on virtually every aspect of multimedia.
 In "Jumpstart" the user can learn how developers integrate multimedia
into everyday applications, find useful tools like the video for Windows
1.1 SDK, sample media and a host of technical articles full of useful
information and sample code.

"Rock Rap 'N Roll"  by Paramount Interactive is a music-making breakthrough
that makes it easy for the user to produce some of the hottest cuts
around, without hitting a sour note or being off key, just by clicking a
mouse.  Awarded a Gold Medal for Best Program Design and Best Adult
Entertainment at the New York Film Festival.

"Movie Select", also by Paramount Interactive, is the intelligent guide to
over 44,000 video movies.  It provides personalized video recommendations
plus all the facts about movies and the stars.

In Icom Simulations' "Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective" the player
conducts a study in detection, and must glean the most information from
the least number of resources.  Multimedia assistance is available from
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, but missing a single query sends the
player back for more clues.

"Space Quest IV" by Sierra On-line features the intergalactic sanitation
engineer and freelance hero, Roger Wilco.  Once again it's up to Roger to
save the future of the Space Quest series, and keep the universe safe for
fair play, bad jokes, and many more warped Space Quest games.

The "Computer Shopper" calls Sirius Publishing's "PC Karaoke: Family Fun",
a "wonderful blast of a good time!"  "PC Karaoke" provides multimedia
Karoake in the comfort of the user's home, with back-up by actual CD-Audio
recordings that sound just like the originals.  "PC Karaoke" has
computer-assisted annotation that allows anyone to sing like a
professional.

"The Home Medical Advisor" by Pixel Perfect helps the user to diagnose
problems and decide whether or not a trip to the doctor is necessary.  The
friendly, interactive format asks a series of questions, just like a
doctor would, and analyzes symptoms to help the patient make informed
medical decisions.  Also includes a special poison section on more than
500 household substances.

"Art & Letters Warbirds" by the Computer Support Co. features the art and
science of military aviation, showcasing combat aircraft of all nations. 
Special controls can play the sounds of various aircraft and their pilots.
 Painstakingly accurate aircraft images and background scenes are useful
for business or personal enjoyment.  "Warbirds" also features a complete
drawing program with more than 400 clip-art images and on-line database.

With "Fantasia's 2000 Fonts", the user can dress up a document with any
font imaginable.  From bovine B's to Swiss cheese C's, Fantasia Concepts
has created more than 2000 unique fonts that will liven up every document.
 All fonts are both True Type and Type 1 formats and a must for any word
processor.

With Interplay Productions' "Battle Chess Enhanced", the mortal combat
thrill of chess is experienced more intensely than anything imaginable. 
Bone-crunching battle sound effects, 3-D animation, and stereo voices
bring the chess pieces to life. 

Sirius plans to release other 10-paks in the future including a 10-pak for
business, a 10-pak of games, and a 3-ft. 6-pak for kids in an on-going
initiative to make CD-ROMs as widely used as floppy disks.
