THE WIN A MANSION CONTEST IS SENDING A 1.3 MILLION DOLLAR HOME SAILING DOWN
THE INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY

New Hope, Pa.-- Bill and Fran Powderly, two extremely frustrated home
sellers, believe they have brought the idea of winning a home by means of
a contest into the 20th century . They have designed a way for any
American with a computer and modem to profit from their storehouse of
trivia knowledge by winning the online trivia contest they invented ,The
Win A Mansion Contest.

The Win A Mansion Contest is the first and only trivia contest of its kind
anywhere. The contest features a Grand Prize of either the Powderly's 1.3
million dollar Bucks County, Pa. mansion or half a million dollars in
cash, whichever prize the winner chooses, and ninety-eight other cash
prizes ranging from $500 to $50,000 for a total of $122,500 in secondary
prizes. The other big winners in the contest will be several charities
around the country which will be receiving a portion the proceeds from
the Powderly's contest .

The contest is simple even for the most inexperienced computer user. Using
a toll free 800 number and any computer online with the Contest, players
will be asked to answer easy and fun multiple choice questions in the
category of their choice, either Sports, Entertainment, or General
Information. All the questions used in the game have been written by the
Powderlys. The Contest will consist of three elimination rounds. The
accuracy and speed of the contestants' answers will determine the prize
winners. In no way are subjectivity, luck or chance involved. Question
selection and timing will be done by computer to assure fairness and
impartiality.

The contest will begin 30 days after they receive the 22,000th entry. All
entry fees are being held in a escrow account until the game begins, and
if the minimum number of entries aren't received by December 31,1994,
all $100 entry fees will be refunded .

"Since it's a contest using multiple choice questions, the Win A Mansion
Contest is like playing Jeopardy or Trivial Pursuit with the right answer
staring you in the face. If we only get the minimum number of entries,
each contestant's chance of winning a prize is about 1 in 220 . Those are
pretty good odds in my book", said Bill Powderly, the co- creator of The
Win A Mansion Contest.

Bill, a general contractor, and his wife Fran, purchased the circa 1765
all-stone manor house in 1988 with the intention of restoring it for
resale. The Powderlys completed the total renovation in 1989 but because
of the sharp decline in the north- east housing market, potential home
buyers have been few and far between . After 4 years on the market the
Powderlys are still living in the house which features 16 rooms and sits
on almost 13 acres near the quaint and historic Delaware River community
of New Hope, Pa..

To receive an entry packet which includes a demonstration disk of the game,
complete set of rules, and an entry application, all one needs to do is
send their name, address, telephone number, type of computer they will use
to play the game online (DOS or MAC), disk size(3.5" or 5.25"), and a
check or money order for $7.00 to cover shipping and handling to: Win A
Mansion, Inc., 604 Corporate Dr, Suite 9203, Langhorne , Pa. 19047. If you
