DATA COLLECTION PLATFORM

The REMOTE-ACQ II is a rugged, reliable data collection platform. It is
stand-alone, and will measure information from all types of sensors,
including Thermocouples, Strain Gages and Pressure Transducers, directly.
This direct connection avoids costly transmitters on each sensor.

Systems are available from 6 to over 1000 inputs. Inputs can be voltage,
millivolts, 4-20 mA, contact closure, counter, Thermocouple, Strain gage,
Pressure transducer, etc.

The REMOTE-ACQ II has a sealed NEMA-4X enclosure for environmental
protection, and is designed for shop-floor and remote applications. Units
are now in use for monitoring water supplies in remote areas, and for EPA
compliance in petrochemical distribution points, as well as many
shop-floor applications.

Data is stored locally, and can be downloaded by telephone, land line, or
to a laptop PC ac an ASCII file, compatible with all spreadsheets and
databases including Lotus 123 and Quattro Pro.

Local alarms, Display, PID and PLC control are available for automatic
calibration of analyzers, etc.

The INSTA-CALL option has automatic voice telephone dial-up upon detection
of a specified out-of-tolerance condition. This will call as many numbers
as desired until a response is obtained. You can have any number of lists,
triggered by different events. You can even call in, and have the current
status of each input read out to you!
