The First Visual Telephone Directory
Maps & Zip+4 Added to ProPhone Lineup

Marblehead, MA. June 8, 1994 -- Pro CD, Inc. has reinvented the telephone
directory again. Pro CD introduced its second quarter lineup of major
enhancements to its ProPhone product line with a powerful mapping link and
detailed address information including ZIP+4. The new features have been
added to all of Pro CD's U.S. based ProPhone CD-ROM products, including
Select Phone, Direct Phone and Free Phone.

The mapping link, the first of its kind ever packaged with a telephone
directory, enables users to select an unlimited range of listings and then
to depict the listings on a map of the United States. For a limited time
the ProPhone titles will include a free bundle copy of the popular mapping
program - Map Linx. Windows users can visualize a selected range of
directory listings pinpointed against a map of the United States by simply
selecting the map icon in the revised ProPhone Windows interface.
According to Jim Bryant, Pro CD's President & CEO, "The visualization of
listings contained within telephone directories represents a major
advancement in the way in which directories will be used. It's the first
true gateway linking telephone directories to a variety of desktop
applications." Pro CD has also signed letters of intent with many of the
major mapping software publishers to permit other mapping programs to
manipulate the white and yellow page listings and toll free listings
contained on Pro CD's ProPhone titles. Pro CD is currently developing
links to mapping titles published by AutoMap, Horizon Technology and Road
Scholar. Once implemented, the ProPhone software will permit users to
export selected listings directly into other Windows based mapping
titles.

Pro CD has also added Zip + 4 to listings contained on Select Phone.
According to Bryant, "Zip + 4 is a valuable feature that will empower
Select Phone users to identify listings with deliverable addresses as well
as qualify for postal discounts." Pro CD also introduced an upper
lower/case toggle and a last name/first name toggle that are available in
both display, export and print functions. Both features enable users to
view and export listings in a more familiar fashion. The combination of
these features is unique to the product category.

Pro CD also announced that it has added 27,197,960 new and updated listings
derived from recently published telephone directories to its 1994 second
quarter Direct Phone and Select Phone releases. The new listings cover a
broad range of metropolitan and rural areas. Pro CD offers quarterly
updates to its products, which include newly published listings and new
software features. Free Phone, which contains AT&T's Toll Free database
listings, was also updated with current information obtained directly from
AT&T.
