Traveling Software's LapLink Remote Access To Be Bundled With The New AST

BOTHELL, Wash., June 23, 1994 -- Traveling Software today announced that
LapLink Remote Access will be pre-loaded on AST's new Ascentia 900N.
LapLink Remote Access enables users to access remote drives and printers
over a serial cable, modem or wireless connection.

computing solution with its support of cellular PCMCIA modems and
Traveling Software's LapLink Remote Access," said Mark Eppley, chairman
and CEO of Traveling Software. "Ascentia 900N users will always have
access to their desktop computers' resources."

The new AST Ascentia 900N has Intel DX4 75MHz and DX2 50MHz CPUs, Western
Digital's RocketCHIP graphics controller and 10.4-inch diagonal active
matrix TFT and 10.3 Dual-Scan STN LCDs. The AST Ascentia also provides up
to eight hours of battery life, an integrated SmartPoint track stick, and
is compatible with more than 150 PCMCIA cards. The AST Ascentia 900N is
available through AST's authorized resellers with estimated sales prices
beginning at $3,399.

LapLink Remote Access will be pre-installed on the AST Ascentia 900N, and
will ship with documentation.
