A Low-Cost Way to Collect Science Data with Your Macintosh

January 24, 1994 -- Portland, OR--Our new Serial Box Interface is the
low-cost way to take data with your Macintosh! Simply plug the Serial Box
Interface into the modem port of the Macintosh, connect your sensor(s),
and use our Data Logger software to monitor temperature, pH, pressure,
heart rate, light intensity, voltage, and more. The Serial Box Interface
has two inputs that can be used to read analog voltages up to 50 times per
second. An optional internal battery pack can be used for remote data
collection with a PowerBook.

The Serial Box Interface package includes: Serial Box Interface, User's
Manual, power supply, cable to Macintosh, and test leads, $99. A site
license for the Data Logger software is $30. Sensors are sold separately.
