converts, optimizes and compresses document, form, font and graphic files
as well as provides users with the activation or control files necessary
to print from within the users software to the laser printer.

printers, MacroMechanic supports 18 of the most popular word processing,
desktop publishing and forms design products on the market today with
which users create documents, forms and graphics. MacroMechanic also comes
bundled with FastForms Personalizer, an easy-to-use and effective solution
for "personalization" of text and graphics for standard forms.

"MacroMechanic was designed from the beginning with the intent to support
storage devices directly onboard the laser printers, be it flash memory,
hard drives, or regular RAM memory," says Brad Pagano, Vice President of
Sales for Synapsis. "Synapsis is proud to support the IBM 4039 series of
printers. Our goal is to continue to work with laser printer manufacturers
to offer users the support they need to cost-effectively manage their
print output. With this updated release, we continue our goal of
synchronizing the back end printing process with the front end software
applications most businesses utilize on a day-to-day basis."

MacroMechanic recently received Novell's Yes, It runs with Netwrae
certification, and to satisfy organizations need to deploy certain
functions of MacroMechanic to all network users, Synapsis is offering
"site licenses" of MacroMechanic for $55.00 per user, complete with user
manual and no-fee customer support. Says Pagano, "Our customers have
informed us that certain features and functions incorporated within
MacroMechanic will be used by all network users, while the remaining ones
are only for a handful. So we are responding to their needs by giving them
a "more for less" solution, which was what our company was founded on."

MacroMechanic retails for $199.00
