Telco Tariff Revision Information Now Available On-Line

Schedule of Changes Includes Effective Date, Transmittal Number, and
Summary of Update

December 17, 1993 -- McAfee, NJ-- Tele-Tech Services introduces a
TariffRevision Look-Up as an addition to Tele-Pacs, an on-line database of
telephone call pricing information. The new feature allows you to track
revisions filed over a defined period of time or for a specific tariff,
and then view information on the update, and order the transmittal, if
desired.

The system permits isolation of a particular tariff, and lets the user
define the level of detail required for the search. Specific sections,
such as rates only or access can be selected, or the program can search
for updates pertaining to the document as a whole. The user is also given
the option of narrowing the search to include only updates effective or
received by Tele-Tech within a certain range of dates.

The TariffRevision Look-Up marks a new concept in keeping abreast of
changes to the many telco tariffs. Clients previously had to subscribe to
receive every revision to a particular tariff, or section of the tariff.
Often, many of these updates did not effect me specific areas of their
concern. Now, Tele-Tech clients can weed out the unwanted updates by
paging through records containing data on each revision, and order only
the transmittals of importance to them.

Each record contains the tariff name, the effective date, the date the
filing was received by Tele-Tech, the transmittal number, the number of
pages included in the revision, and a Tele-Tech ID # which is helpful when
placing an order. Perhaps most importantly, a summary of the changes being
made is included so the user can get a general idea of what is being
updated without browsing through piles of paper.

Information on ordering the revision is included with each record, and upon
exiting the program, an order form listing the revisions you have chosen
to receive is printed at your location, and can be faxed or mailed to
Tele-Tech, where your order is promptly prepared and shipped.

"We've been using the program internally to keep track of revisions, find
out if we've received a filing we're expecting, and help us to answer
client questions more quickly," says customer service representative
Kimberly Kromer. "It's great to be able to sit at my computer and find out
if we have a revision without searching through miles of paper. We receive
an average of 500 transmittals per week, and the Tariff Revision Look-Up
has been invaluable in helping to find out what's going on."
