Twin Dolphin Games Ships Smokin' Guns;
Windows Shooting Gallery Game Blows Away Stress

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Nov. 15, 1993) --Twin Dolphin Games, a leading software
publisher and developer, today shipped Smokin' Guns, one of two Windows
products released today. Smokin' Guns is a arcade-style shooting gallery
game featuring six different scenes including a country fair,
gangsterland, a haunted house, an airplane hijacking and a battle in outer
space. Smokin' Guns is available at retail locations nationwide at a
suggested retail price of $ 39.95.

According to director of sales and marketing Jerry Soto, Smokin' Guns
offers Windows users the opportunity to take out some of their aggressions
in a fun way. "Smokin' Guns gives the player a chance to blow off a little
steam while taking a break from their work," said Soto. "The shooting
gallery at the fair or amusement park brings back lots of good memories
for lots of people. Now instead of yelling at their spouses or coworkers,
they can shoot bad guys or bottles and relieve their stress."

Smokin' Guns features six different shooting gallery scenes each with
special weapons to choose from. Tour Gangsterland, bust the ghosts in The
House on the Hill, battle alien life forms in Neptune 6, shoot at ducks,
bunnies and plates in Country Fair, save passengers from hijackers in
Terminal Flight and shoot-'em-up in Silicon Gulch. Each scene gives the
player a choice of six guns each with different capacities, reload times,
recoils and damage ratios and an assortment of bad guys to shoot and
innocent bystanders to avoid. The player gains 500 points for each bad guy
hit, but loses 1,000 points when a bystander is hit. If a player hits too
many bystanders the game will end.

In Country Fair, the game consists of a single two minute round. There are
no bystanders; anything can be shot for points. In the other five scenes,
each round lasts one minute and the player must survive the round with
some portion of his life meter remaining in order to continue gameplay.
Each continuing round begins with the life meter in the place where the
previous round left off and the player can only add life in bonus rounds.

Bonus rounds occur every third round and the object of the round is to
shoot as many characters as possible. There are no bystanders and as each
bad guy is hit, the player's life meter increases, adding to the amount of
time he can keep playing.
