New OnTime stand alone, network enterprise releases hit the streets; more
waiting in the wings

OnTime for Networks

The newest version of OnTime for Networks began shipping in June. Although
considered an "interim" release and not a full blown major release, the
new version of the network package includes a bunch of new goodies:

* the ability to import and export OnTime calendar information to and from
a host of "palmtop" computers (such as the Casio BOSS, Sharp Wizard,
HP95LX, etc.)

* greatly enhanced print capabilities, including the ability in the Windows
version to print to "organizer-style" sizes (like the familiar DayRunner
or Franklin Planner notebooks)

* support for WinBeep in the Windows version (allowing alarms to be sent to
pagers)

* support for the AT&T PassageWay Solution phone dialer (Windows only)

* drag and drop to change date or time of appointments (Windows only)

* full BeyondMail integration, including RSVP from e-mail (Windows only)

The current version of OnTime for Networks are version 1.5 for the
Windows/DOS network combo and 2.5 for the DOS-only package.

Upgrades from Network versions 1.2/2/2 to Network v1.5/2.5 will cost $100
per server. Upgrades from a network version released prior to v1.2/2.2 to
Network v1.5/2.5 will cost 40% of list price.

OnTime (DOS and Windows stand alone products)

With all the excitement about the network products, some owners of OnTime
stand alone products (sometimes known as single user verions since they
don't support networks, multiple calendars or group scheduling) wondered
whether we'd forgotten about them. No way!

Campbell Services is delighted to announce that updated stand alone
versions of both OnTime for DOS and OnTime for Windows are shipping. Both
versions offer a host of new features, including true import/export,
delete/archive by range and improved performance. The DOS version now
allows for command-line "unloading" of the TSR version. The Windows
version goes even further, additionally including support for Windows 3.1
proportional fonts, drag and drop rescheduling and dramatically improved
printout customization. The fonts alonw are worth the price of admission:
you can customize your printouts in Windows, choosing which typeface and
font size for the various areas of your calendar, allowing almost total
customization.

In addition, the stand alone versions also offer the same new "bells and
whistles" of the network version mentioned above like "organizer-styler"
printouts (Windows), import/export to palmtops (both versions), a
multitude of print enhancements (both versions), WinBeep and AT&T
PassageWay support (Windows).

Upgrades from Stand Alone version 1.2/2.2 to Stand Alone v1.5/2.5 will cost
$29.95 (Windows) and $19.95 (DOS). Upgrades to Stand Alone v1.5/2.5 from a
previous Stand Alone version of OnTime will cost $51.98 (Windows) and
$27.98 (DOS).

For network users, incidentally, there's also a "recon" version of the
stand alone product which will allow a user to download their calendar
onto a laptop, use it while away from the office, and go through a
full-blown reconciliation with their network calendar upon returning to
the office. You need to contact your salesperson for information on the
stand alone recon versions.
