Trinzic Introduces InfoPump 1.1--Supports Banyan Vines and Digital
Pathworks

Popular Data Routing and Synchronization Software Connects Server Databases
with Lotus Notes

Palo Alto, CA, December 8, 1993--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced InfoPump 1.1, featuring improved network connectivity and
expanded database access. InfoPump 1.1 adds support for the popular Banyan
Vines and Digital Pathworks networking protocols. The new version also
adds support for IBM's DB2/2 and Digital's Rdb relational database
management systems.

"InfoPump continues on a high growth track with broad acceptance among
Lotus Notes users and value-added resellers," said Frederick J. Lizza,
Vice President and General Manager of Trinzic's Data Access and
Connectivity Products Group. "In fact, we see that in addition to
InfoPump's popularity as a server-to-server solution, a large percentage
of our new InfoPump sales are connected to Lotus Notes implementations. "

"For example, InfoPump users can connect a SQL/Server database running on a
LAN server with an Rdb database running on a VAX and then pass information
to Lotus Notes. Pathworks and Vines support add to the many variations of
sources that can be integrated into the client/server environment with
InfoPump."
