ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS ESTABLISHES AUSTRALIAN OPERATION; OPENS REGIONAL
OFFICES TO SUPPORT SALES AND SERVICE OF ELECTRONIC MAIL AND MESSAGING
PRODUCTS

(Westlake Village, California; 24 November 1993)--Enterprise Solutions
Limited, who recently announced their expansion into the European
messaging and communications marketplace, today announced the
establishment of Enterprise Solutions Australia. Company headquarters
have been set up in Sydney, with regional offices in Adelaide, Canberra,
Melbourne and Perth. Offices have also been established in Hong Kong and
Singapore. Mr. Peter Williams has been appointed Managing Director, and
Mr. Terry Lee has assumed the position of Director of Sales.

Mr. Karl Klessig, President of Enterprise Solutions Limited, the corporate
parent, spoke about the enthusiastic reception to the launch of Enterprise
Mail in Australia. "In October, we offered a series of seminars and
presentations in Perth, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. We met with large
numbers of government users, both state and federal, as well as commercial
users. Enterprise Solutions Australia is pleased to report that, in a
remarkably short period of time, a significant number of installations
and pilots are already under way!"

ENTERPRISE MAIL is based upon a fully native implementation of the 1984 and
1988 X.400 and X.500 international messaging standards. It is the first
genuinely open and complete electronic mail product family offering a
full-featured enterprise-wide messaging solution. ENTERPRISE MAIL does
much more than just provide a vehicle for exchanging interpersonal
messages between users. It enables the development of enterprise-wide
applications to greatly improve organizational efficiency and services to
customers. It provides the foundation for workflow applications that
automate key business practices, including EDI (Electronic Data
Interchange) applications that greatly reduce time and errors in order
processing, while allowing inventory reductions. An ENTERPRISE MAIL
messaging solution allows faster, more efficient communication in our
global marketplace.

Why choose a standards-based messaging solution?

Organizations which begin today to develop enterprise-wide messaging
architectures and applications will enjoy significant competitive
advantages for many years to come. And by choosing a standards-based
messaging solution, corporations will benefit from all the advantages of
an open systems solution:

  - Reduced Costs
  - Ease of Use
  - Rich Functionality
  - Improved Communications
  - Streamlined business processes
  - Flexibility

The ENTERPRISE MAIL X.400/X.500 solution allows users to continue
supporting their existing installed PC LAN and mainframe mail products,
such as PROFS, cc:Mail, or Microsoft Mail, while migrating to a fully
distributed Open Systems mail and messaging solution--thus protecting past
investments.

ENTERPRISE MAIL is very easy to learn!

ENTERPRISE MAIL products provide a consistent set of user interfaces based
upon X.400 and GOSIP compliance. The User Agent (UA) is the client
application which resides on the PC, workstation, or terminal, and
provides the messaging front end that interfaces with the Message Transfer
Agents (MTA) located on one or more servers. Available across a wide
variety of platforms, the character-based user interface versions have
been developed to take advantage of the features and look of the
MS-Windows version. With the same look and feel as well as the same
functionality, ENTERPRISE MAIL is easily learned by any user, with basic
functions capable of being understood in less than 10 minutes!

ENTERPRISE MAIL has been shipping in the UK and U.S. for over two years,
with the first installations at major government agencies and at selected
corporate sites. One of the first ENTERPRISE MAIL customers in the U.S.
was Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer. A worldwide software
licensing agreement with NCR Corporation was announced in June of 1993.
The product line consists of X.400 User Agents for multiple user
interfaces, remote user agents for non-connected users, full X.500
Directory Services, complete Mail Administration, a 1988 X.400 MTA, and a
family of mail-enabled add-on products which extend and enhance the basic
capabilities of the entire Enterprise Mail X.400 series.
