The Design Center's New Expanded Library!

December 17, 1993 -- (Irvine, CA) MicroSim Corporation's Design Center
release 6.0 includes a comprehensive library of over 9,000 analog and
digital simulation models and the support of more than 4,000 commercial
programmable logic devices with our programmable logic synthesis product.

Our library is continually growing. For this release alone we have added
1,796 Japanese models, 128 domestic models, 5 TTL models, and over 4,000
commercial PLDs. The appropriate simulation models are included with each
copy of our circuit simulation packages (PSpice for analog, PLogic for
digital, and PSpice A/D for mixed signal circuit simulation) at no
additional cost, and the programmable logic device library comes standard
with PLSyn for programmable logic synthesis.

Our analog library has over 7,200 common U.S., Japanese, and European
discrete devices and includes bipolar transistors, Zener diodes, power
MOSFETs, voltage regulators, thyristors, small-signal JFETs, transformer
cores, pulse-width modulators, averaging power supplies, operational
amplifiers, opto-couplers, voltage comparators, quartz crystals, IBIS I/O
buffers, and switching-matrix connectors. Our linear IC offerings include
models created by industry leaders such as Advanced Linear Devices, AMP,
Analog Devices, APEX Microtechnology Corporation, Burr-Brown, Comlinear
Corporation, Elantec, Harris Semiconductor, Linear Technology, Motorola,
National Semiconductor, Polyfet RF Devices, and Texas Instruments.

The digital model library contains over 1,800 components including gates,
flip-flops, latches, registers, counters, and PLDs. The TTL (AC, ACT, ALS,
AS, F, H, HC, HCT, L, LS, S), CMOS (A, B, UB), 10K and 100K ECL, and PLD
(PALs, GALs) circuit families are included. The models describing each
component define not only the input/output characteristics of the device,
but also all of its propagation delays (minimum, typical, maximum).

Our programmable logic synthesis package has a device database which
includes speed, price, power, packaging, and logic architecture
information for over 4,000 devices from 22 manufacturers. It includes
support for even the largest new complex PLDs from AMD's MACH family.

Our customers help guide our corporate direction. Many Design Center
library additions, as well as products and features, have been derived due
to customer requests.

The Design Center prices range from $1,495 to $15,900 depending on platform
and configuration.

We have sold over 19,000 copies of our simulator worldwide. With this track
record, you can count on the Design Center for state-of-the-art
technology, reliability, and performance.
