AutoMessage 2.0 VGA
Shareware Express Presidents Pick

AutoMessage 2.0 is a graphical message presentation system comparable to
those used by local cable television systems. AutoMessage 2.0 comes in
both 20 and 32-column versions (graphics from the 20-column version are
shown) The program allows users to quickly enter messages of up to 999
lines which it then displays with professional results. Because the
program is graphical, display characters are large, smooth, and easy to
read from a distance. Each line of the message is controlled independently
and can be underlined doubled in size, left, center, or right justified,
shown at one of four speeds, and even be made to blink. In addition, each
line can have one of sixteen colors for both the text and the background.
Other display features include a choice of five fonts, title functions
(where a top and/or bottom line stays on the screen while the rest of the
message scrolls), a pause message function, and a clear screen function.

Once a message is created, AutoMessage 2.0 has a myriad of display options.
The program can show from 1 to 300 different messages per session. These
messages can be displayed either randomly or alphabetically. You can show
the messages continuously, for a specified number of times, or for a
specified time limit. You can also specify a delay between messages. If
you choose to have a delay between messages, the delay can be filled with
one of 7 possible intermission effects. Effects can be chosen so that the
same effect appears each time, or so that a variety of effects appear
randomly.

New features in the shareware versions of AutoMessage 2.0 include a
password function, a "QuickShow" feature to simplify message playback, and
two more fonts. New features in the registered version include ten fonts
in the 20-column version & four fonts in the 32-column version, five songs
for background music during message playback, a DOS message player for
playing messages from the command-line or from batch files, an ASCII
text-to-message converter, and an enhanced viewer for showing GIF and PCX
files.

To nun AutoMessage 2.0, you'll need VGA, 420K free memory, DOS 2.1 or
higher, and a HD floppy.
