your user manual for explicit instructions.

1.2 NetWare 4.0 - The Windows portion of NETremote+ is fully com-
patiable with NetWare 4.0. Please note for installation purposes,
you must have the Bindery Emulation invoked (BIND.VLM). Please
refer to your NetWare 4.0 Owner's manual.

1.3 1000 User - NETremote+ for Windows will now support up to 1000

        3. Installation Notes
******************************

NOTE:	If you are installing from a previous version of NETremote+ for Windows,
you will need to delete the line INSTALL=USER from your WIN.INI file
under the [Netremote] section. Otherwise you will receive an error
when installing NETremote+ v5.21 error: Unable to copy or decompress
	file BDIKBD.310.

3.1 In order to use NETremote+ 5.21, the install must make various
modifications to your SYSTEM.INI file. These changes must be
made to every USER on the LAN that will be invoking NETremote+.
The changes made are listed below:
                - In the [Boot] section, the line "keyboard.drv=<keyboard>.drv"
                  changes to "keyboard.drv=bdikbd.drv".
Where <keyboard>.drv is your current keyboard driver. The
current keyboard driver should have been copied to
                  xkbd.dll.
                - In the [386Enh] section, the install will place a line
                  "device=vnrld.386".
3.2 If you are upgrading from an earlier version of NETremote+ for
Windows, please make sure the following files are flagged with
             Read/Write attributes: BDIKBD.DRV, XKBD.DLL and VNRLD.386. These
files can be found in your Windows\System directory.
3.3 Do NOT use TBMI or TBMI2.
3.4 The WNR.INI file stores all of the options that were selected from
the Listening Options. This file is User specific and is stored in
             each User's Windows directory.

        4. Known Problems
******************************

4.1 NETremote+ v5.21 currently supports remote control of like to like
video modes. Therefore, if the Caller and the Listener both have
VGA screens, and have loaded the standard VGA driver included with
Windows, then the Caller can control the Listener. However, if
NETremote detects that the video drivers are not alike, then an error
dialog box will appear informing the User of the differences in the
display drivers. At this point, the Caller may cancel the call and
install the same video driver as the Listener. This is the preferred
scenario to follow but the Caller may attempt to connect to the
             Listener.

Different resolutions may be used but to achieve the best results,
we suggest that the same resolutions be used. If the Caller is in
a 800x600 mode, and the listener is in 640x480 mode, you can still
control the Listener, however the Listener's screen will appear in
the upper left hand corner of the Caller's screen.

Although the use of two different resolutions is possible, it is
necessary that both PCs have the same color mode.

4.2 Racal Interlan 9210 3.0EC driver. McAfee has documented problems
with this driver. We recommend that you use the Racal Interlan
9210 2.0 driver to avoid problems. The problem seen with the older
driver version is that the Listening PC locks up when trying to be
             called.

4.3 Using the ODI v.2.10 driver for the Proteon Token-Ring board will
cause the Listening PC to reboot when establishing a call. Use the IPX
v.3.10 driver instead. The IPX v.3.10 for the Proteon is alot more stable
to use until Proteon comes out with a newer ODI driver for this board.

        5. Helpful Hints
******************************

5.1 If, during periods of network traffic congestion, NETremote+
appears to arbitrarily hang-up, increase the time-out value by typing
the following command at the Nremote DOS prompt:

config wnr.exe pp_trys XXX (where the XXX represent the amount of
times to retry.) The default retry time
                                         is set to 5.
5.2 When viewing the current connections list, from within Windows, and
your ICONS for Listeners change from Windows to DOS ICON, invoke the
following command onto the command line in Windows:
                 /highlight=WAN.
This is how the statement should appear:
             f:\nremote\wnr.exe /highlight=wan (where f:\nremote is the drive
and directory that NETremote+ is installed in.
5.3 CoSession with Windows NETremote+ - On the Remote PC load any Mouse
driver with the exception of LMOUSE.DRV. Type in GORWIN to execute
CoSession and the proper Windows drivers. Once you are connected to
the Host PC type in WIN: to execute Windows.
5.4 We do not support MicroSoft Mouse driver 9.0.
5.5 To enforce Security, by only allowing a few people to be Callers,
create a group called NRCALLERS in Syscon. Make each person who
will be a Caller a member of this group.
