Oops, Wrong Victim: A robber in Indiana reached through the window of a 
truck to grab the driver's necklace. In response to being choked, the 
driver put five 9mm rounds into the robber, who did not survive. 
(Leaving the scene of a shooting, unless it's unsafe to remain to await 
police, is generally a poor move.)

A Shooting Dissected: In June 1997 I was privileged to preview the 
latest LAPD "Officer Involved Shooting" video involving Officer Stan 
Cook of the Honolulu PD. Stan is now retired and has posted a few 
accounts, primarily in video, on his own website. This includes amazing 
reenactment footage of an officer finishing a gunfight after having been
