That was incorrect. In fact, the situation is even worse: the BATFE tried (and failed) to coerce the manufacturer, Len Savage, into committing a felony by directing him to remove the serial number himself. Secondly, _Small Arms Review_ has published an article in their May 2006 issue that selectively highlights the CRS report ( www.jpfo.org/ATFguntests.pdf ). While we applaud the publicizing of this issue, we are somewhat concerned with the presentation. Although the article quoted only a small portion of the memo, it did not give readers the JPFO website address where the full report can be downloaded. In fact, the article avoids any mention of the effort and research done by JPFO.
