Recently set Homepage (https://gethomepage.dev) up for my remote
server with Hetzner, I have an EX101 that I use for different stuff,
mostly accessed over Tailscale.

Haha you have a tile for your homepage on your homepage LOL, why ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
mattssn · 2023-12-31 22:07

Lol, I know its pointless, as I wouldn't be able to see it if it went
down, so truthfully.. idk lol

----------------------------------------------------------------------
root_switch · 2023-12-31 22:09

Let’s just keep it there so everybody knows you have lots of
containers hahaha

----------------------------------------------------------------------
mattssn · 2023-12-31 22:10

Now you make me want to remove it in shame! but for that i'll add
three more

root_switch · 2023-12-31 22:15

At this point just don’t even host them, just add whatever services
you want on your dashboard and point them all back to homepage. You’ll
be the coolest cat on r/selfhosted

hahaha I really can't tell if you are lowkey roasting me

----------------------------------------------------------------------
root_switch · 2023-12-31 22:19

lol it’s all in good fun! But really good job on your homepage. Why is
it so wide tho? Got a wide screen or something ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
mattssn · 2023-12-31 22:21

haha thank you, I appreciate that! I have a QHD monitor, I debated
just snipping part of it, but I like the aesthetic with the ultra wide
:D

----------------------------------------------------------------------
root_switch · 2023-12-31 22:22

Nice, I have a 35inch ultra wide so I figured that was the case.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
mattssn · 2023-12-31 22:23

Yeah, I never planned on getting an ultra wide, but my job sent me one
for WFH, so its setup at my desk, idk if I can go back now tbh..

Dude me to! Pretty much the same situation although I bought mine
cause my work sucks lol. I couldn’t stand a single laptop screen and
the shitty Mac m2 doesn’t allow 2 external monitors which is fucking
mind blowing to me, but the ultra wide let’s me split the screen for
two different apps.
