Local Text-To-Speech with custom voice training, running on AMD cards? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CyberpunkLover · 2023-12-30 22:09 Anyone know any decent text to speech software that can be run on local machine with AMD GPU? So far I've been using Descript, and that one is pretty good, but voice choices are very limited and it requires subscription. I've tried looking into running something similar on my local machine, but only managed to find stuff for Nvidia Cuda. I'm using AMD 6650XT, and upgrading to Nvidia isn't an option, with even cheapest "okay" grade Nvidia cards being 400€+ in my area, so wondering whether anyone know any tools that could run off of AMD cards, specifically with the option to train your own AI overdub voice from audio samples? So far tried RVCv2, Mangio RVC, Apollio RVCv2, also looked into Coqui TTS and Tortoise TTS, and all of them do what I need, but all require Nvidia Cuda to work. Mangio RVC was the most successful, allowing to use "almost" all of the features, but without Cuda, specifically the training part doesn't work. Any advice would be appreciated.
