In which case, that’s very normal to have ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ven0m9 · 2023-12-30 22:28 is it safe tho? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nathan12581 · 2023-12-30 22:31 Describe ‘safe’ nothing is entirely ‘safe’. What I can say is that it is normal to have this, it allows your router to query local cached DNS to save it asking external servers making the requests faster ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AnApexBread · 2023-12-30 22:46 > is it secure to use the 3rd dns if my network got comprmised? You're fine. The third DNS is the gateways (probably). There's nothing weird or dangerous about having 3 DNS servers or having your gateways as one of them. The only time I would be concerned is if your DNS got changed to some IP that wasn't a well-known DNS server (or the gateway). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Legitimate_Farm_3095 · 2023-12-30 23:02 not self hosted. you want a networking sub ---------------------------------------------------------------------- djgizmo · 2023-12-30 23:11 Why would it not be safe?
