Self hosted services access through Cloudflare reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TheAmorphous · 2023-12-30 15:52 For ages I've been using a simple DuckDNS entry to access Jellyfin externally. I have port 8096 forwarded and can access it in a browser by entering my IP ([xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8096](https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8096)) or [example.duckdns.org:8096](https://example.duckdns.org:8096). I've now purchased a domain name through Cloudflare which now shows Active on their dashboard. I've created "A" and "CNAME" DNS records, with "A" set to @ and my IP (the one above that works directly). "CNAME" is set to "www" and points to my domain name from the "A" record. Proxy is enabled for both. If I try to open [mydomain.org:8096](https://mydomain.org:8096) it times out. It's been about 24 hours since I set all this up with Cloudflare. DNS checkers point [mydomain.org](https://mydomain.org) to Cloudflare IP addresses. What am I doing wrong? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fooblaa · 2023-12-30 23:18 With proxy enabled, only port 80/443 will work.
