I thought gluetun was like outgoing connections for the container? I
run it with a searxng instance.

In all honesty, I think the easiest method is buying a raspberry pi
and whacking pivpn on it, getting your router to port forward and use
wireguard.

Wireguard is insanely effective and battery efficient for your phone
you can use it 24/7. Much less fuss than containers and gluetun can go
down.

I think its most common use case is to use it for outbound connections
using a commercial VPN, but you can also use it for inbound
connections if you bend it a bit.

Having said that, I don't think Gluetun is the best option if you want
to do that, so I ended up using headscale, which was a better tool for
the job.

Unfortunately, I couldn't port forward since I'm behind a CGNAT.
