[Help] Broke my docker after some firewalld/iptable modification reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zamk-paw · 2023-12-26 13:22 Hello, Been a hour im trying to fix my docker but i can't find the solutions.... would need some help my error, sorry for the text, was hard to get most of the text :( : [https://prnt.sc/UUxADkCj5zs\_](https://prnt.sc/UUxADkCj5zs_) failed to start daemon: Error initializing network controller: error creating default "bridge" network: Failed to program NAT chain: COMMAND\_FAILED: 'python-nftables' failed: internal:0:0-0: Error: Could not process rule: No such file or directory Thanks for your help! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- adamshand · 2023-12-26 19:38 What I'd try is: - uninstal firewalld (I'm guessing it has a method to persist iptables rules between reboots) - [manually remove any remaining iptables rules](https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-list- and-delete-iptables-firewall-rules) - reboot Be aware that Docker doesn't play nicely with all firewalls. I know you can make it work with UFW, but when I last did this (a few years ago) I had to do some tweaks to get everything working nicely.
