Easy to carry around the gym. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Legitimate_Farm_3095 · 2023-12-26 13:40 https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/search?q=fitness+tracker ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BinaryPatrickDev · 2023-12-26 14:00 This is technically self hosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Simon-RedditAccount · 2023-12-26 14:16 Not exactly what are your asking about, but I usually records *some* walks/hikes with Apple Watch (they use much less battery than phone, while still giving accurate tracks). Then I export GPX files and keep them in Nextcloud. NextCloud's GpxPod is a handy app for working with GPX files. For other workouts, I personally don't bother beyond Apple Health. But if I cared, I'd go the same route - exporting data from watch/phone to some self-hosted app. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EndlessHiway · 2023-12-26 15:09 I know. You also don't get dirty looks from people who think you are playing on your phone instead of using a piece of equipment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- olejazz · 2023-12-26 15:57 Have a look at: - [wger](https://github.com/wger-project/wger) - https://codeberg.org/jannis/FitoTrack - https://github.com/spech66/lifelogspd ---------------------------------------------------------------------- beardbreed · 2023-12-26 16:21 I'll look into how I can export data from the Galaxy watch... I actually meant tracking lifts Like deadlift 120x5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- beardbreed · 2023-12-26 16:23 Thanks, I'll look into these ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thesearenot_my_pants · 2023-12-26 18:47 I’ve perfected my “recording my last set, not messing around on my phone” look. Just gotta look focused and a little annoyed that you needed to pull out your phone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ronnoceel · 2023-12-27 00:12 I use the notes app on my phone ---------------------------------------------------------------------- aceberg_ · 2023-12-27 08:31 Self-Hosted workout diary with GitHub-style year visualization: https://github.com/aceberg/ExerciseDiary ---------------------------------------------------------------------- beardbreed · 2023-12-27 08:41 This looks very nice i will try it out ---------------------------------------------------------------------- edersong · 2023-12-27 11:33 Take a look at https://github.com/IgnisDa/ryot and you can try it out there: https://ryot.fly.dev/auth/login?next=/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- beardbreed · 2023-12-27 17:06 This is so cool, it might even replace series guide for me ---------------------------------------------------------------------- olejazz · 2023-12-27 18:28 For graphing/tracking exercises etc, also checkout: https://github.com/SamAmco/track-and-graph/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- beardbreed · 2023-12-27 18:53 How would you go about tracking the reps and weight for each exercise? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- olejazz · 2023-12-27 21:50 Multiple Date / time can be entered for each weight done for each excercise e.g. - quad excercise - dec25 0800 - 25kg - dec25 0805 - 25kg etc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- edersong · 2023-12-28 17:14 u/IgnisDa is working on an integration with Google Fit as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IgnisDa · 2023-12-28 17:32 Hey, author of Ryot here. Just a heads up. Fitness integration is "complete" in the sense that you can track your workouts and view them. However "good to have" things like visualization have not been implemented yet.
