Expose LXD over a reverse proxy

How can I expose LXD service over a reverse proxy preferably Caddy. I
am running multiple services on my server and mange all certs through
automatic HTTPS of caddy.

I would like to expose the lxd API and webui on
https://lxd.mydomain.com

I have tried this already but I am unable to authenticate due to certs
mismatch issues.

As Caddy is issuing certs from letsencrypt.

I can.  But I have a lot of upgrading to do beyond just that.  Been
putting it all off.
