Docker based YunoHost alternative reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lukas2002m · 2023-12-25 15:22 Hello, I wanted to ask around here if anyone knows a good alternative to YunoHost, which is essentially based on Docker containers. I use YunoHost for a few personal, non-critical applications which I would like to be able to install via GUI in one click. However, YunoHost has often broken configurations with certain service combinations, which is why I am looking for an alternative to YunoHost, like PortanerIO only with ready-made templates for popular services. I thought that maybe someone here uses and knows a good application for such a purpose. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- denisgomesfranco · 2023-12-25 16:51 Check out Easypanel.io. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Oujii · 2023-12-25 17:27 Try yacht.sh ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2023-12-25 19:49 [removed] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dudesque · 2023-12-26 06:50 I didn't tried it but on of the author was advertising this project :[https://github.com/azukaar/cosmos- Server/](https://github.com/azukaar/cosmos-Server/) that seem promising ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BenMtl · 2023-12-26 10:58 you might like to have a peek at CasaOS .. sounds like it might be what you are looking for. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PM_EXISTENTIAL_QUs · 2023-12-26 12:35 Pikapods ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lukas2002m · 2023-12-26 16:04 This project seems promising, thank you for the link! I am going to install and try it ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Canadaian1546 · 2023-12-26 18:07 +1 for CasaOS But you can achieve all of this with Docker + Portainer and use a Custom App registry in Portainer. This is what I do. I test apps via Portainer, and the move them on my Unraid Server. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BenMtl · 2023-12-26 18:08 yes but that isn't what they were looking for .. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Canadaian1546 · 2023-12-26 18:12 I mean, it is more or less one click deploy after initial configuration, so I'm curious what you would suggest as an alternative? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BenMtl · 2023-12-26 18:13 I do everything from the command line with docker-compose.. :) Old man ... old school :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Canadaian1546 · 2023-12-26 18:17 Cool, still doesn't answer the question though. Cloudron would be a good answer.
