Something for audiobooks?

So I am not very experienced in self hosting my content much besides
having a jellyfin server running on linux mint xfce through a external
hard drive.

And I was wondering, is there a similar app to self host audiobooks'
wav files with metadata that also has an iOS app and supports
downloading the content onto the phone itself?

Plex for audiobooks via Prologue on iOS is the gold standard.

There's also Audiobookshelf with a beta iOS app, but I've not tried
it.

I am really really liking Audiobookshelf, the one issue with it is
that the iOS is only available as a beta release via TestFlight, and
that is currently hit the maximum number of people.

As of yesterday, I think there were still slots open. Might still be
some. A new batch is cleared whenever new releases are pushed.
