How to add apps outside of a cluster

I’m using https://github.com/onedr0p/flux-cluster-template to host
apps like overseerr, radar, etc but occasionally I have an app that
won’t work in kubernetes so I setup a container in proxmox or
something. I use opnsense running in a vm in proxmox and k8s is also
running in a vm.

I can’t seem to figure out how to setup an ingress resource or
something else to get a url for a service running outside the cluster.
Is there a way to get a url with ssl outside of using ingress?

Why won't the app work in k8s?
If there really is no other way, you could try to use an [External
Name service](https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/services-
networking/service/#externalname) (with it's caveats) as backend in
your Ingress spec.
