Or is there some kind of plugins for jellyfin for that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- davidnburgess34 · 2023-12-24 15:45 I would check out TubeSync: https://github.com/meeb/tubesync ---------------------------------------------------------------------- travellingtechie · 2023-12-24 15:47 I have metube in my list of programs to check out, havent tried it yet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- daywreckerdiesel · 2023-12-24 16:20 I use MeTube to download the files and I watch them in Jellyfin. Just add the folder. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- my7h1cal · 2023-12-24 16:39 Sounds like a perfect job for TubeArchivist: [https://github.com/tubea rchivist/tubearchivist](https://github.com/tubearchivist/tubearchivist ) It'll allow you to organize your downloaded YouTube videos, search them, and download them as well. Comes with a docker-compose file as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Old_Bug4395 · 2023-12-24 19:08 This is my own project, but I created it as a simpler alternative to other youtube downloader UIs because I had trouble with them [https:// github.com/bennyclams/untube](https://github.com/bennyclams/untube) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Spuxilet · 2023-12-24 21:31 Check this out. If you have the metadata in json it’s a breeze to import all local videos and have the metadata imported and indexed as well. But if not , it’s actually easier to just redownload all the videos using TA. If you haven’t saved the video id and/or metadata, it becomes a problem. Using it to archive videos is a dream though once you have it installed. (There is also a plugin for syncing to Jellyfin) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Im1Random · 2023-12-25 02:30 I use Metube together with Jellyfin for playback
