SilverDict - a webbased alternative of GoldenDict reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sh4hr4m · 2023-12-24 14:24 Hi everyone, I've been on the hunt for a web-based alternative to GoldenDict for some time now. Recently, I came across SilverDict, and I've been using it for a while. I've got it set up on a TurnKey LXC Container on my Proxmox and uploaded all my dictionaries using the TurnKey Webinterface. If you're interested, you could consider creating a Docker container for SilverDict and then just map your dictionary path as a volume. It's been working well for me! github repo: [https://github.com/Crissium/SilverDict](https://github.c om/Crissium/SilverDict) screenshots: https://preview.redd.it/4sr1g356598c1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=w ebp&s=fc96f050540157a1e809c11aafeb368e136b8248 [ The dark theme is not built in, but rendered with the Dark Reader Firefox extension. ](https://preview.redd.it/85ym2pc8598c1.png?width=1 920&format=png&auto=webp&s=cca9c97163873b4e90b27b522693d01a226bb646)
